Colognia press has been awarded by the highest possible prize, the AWARD of the World Packaging Association

During the international fair Interpack, Düsseldorf, Germany (17.5. 2011), Colognia press, a.s . has obtained an Award of World Packaging Association for the product „Laminate tube with Braille script“.

Colognia press, a.s. is the first Czech printing company to get the gold medal, The President´s Award.

The products with Braille script were nominated for printing technique of Braille script for flexible materials which also brings additional added value in terms of social aspect. Such added value were not offered by anybody among the nominees. Our product convinced the steering committee.

Laminate tube with Braille script was developed in cooperation of Colognia press, a.s. and Tubapack, a.s. and became a winner of „Packaging of the year in the Czech Republic“ in November 2010. Based on this we were nominated into international competition WorldStar for Packaging, where we competed with almost three hundred products from thirty countries worldwide. The President´s  Award was given by president Keith Person.

The whole development process and printing methods are also supported by european funds. This unique technology is in the process to be patented.
